Born in Kadıköy in 1999, Berkan Sivri was raised in Tuzla, where the surrounding shipyards, maritime vessels, and naval atmosphere sparked his early passion for the maritime industry. Despite initially pursuing computer studies in high school, his heart remained devoted to maritime pursuits, influenced by his sister’s career in the field. He graduated from Istanbul Gelişim University with a degree in Marine and Port Management, which served as his gateway into the maritime sector. Following graduation, Berkan began his professional journey at a ship agency company, where he served as Operations Manager for three years, gaining invaluable experience in sector dynamics and building strong industry relationships. His enthusiasm for travel and exploration naturally complements his maritime career, as he enjoys connecting with international crew members and sharing diverse cultural experiences. Berkan continues to pursue professional development within the maritime industry, committed to expanding his expertise and contributing to the sector’s future growth.
